As a part of the Community Service Programme the KS3 students have been offered for the first time
a weekend trip where they could deepen their knowledge and understanding of what service means, how
to open up and be aware of the world and people around them. 26 brave students have signed up and
have successfully completed the task. They have put their energy, effort and enthusiasm into repainting
the dining room, colour up the fence and prepare boxful of candles, decorations and jewellery for the
Christmas bazaar. The students from different year groups have shared work, fatigue, fun and skills.
They have made a deep impression on the local staff and have laid a good base for the next groups to
come taking up the work. I would like to thank all the students and express my appreciation.
